Penn State York Women's Basketball opens the regular season tonight (Tuesday, Nov. 7) at 6 p.m. against the Knights of Central Penn College. York look to build off of a close scrimmage loss to Lancaster Bible College last Friday evening as they start the 2017–18 campaign.

Last season Penn State York took both games against their local non-conference rival, first led by Karra Thomason (New Oxford, Pennsylvania / Bermudian Springs High School) and her 19 points in a Nov. 15, 2016 51–46 away win. In the rematch at York in January, reserve Sky Warner (Brogue, Pennsylvania / Red Lion Area Senior High School) scored 18 points in 29 minutes to lead Penn State York to a 67–39 win.

All home games are played in the Joe and Rosie Ruhl Student Community Center gym, and are free and open to the public.
