YORK, Pa. - The initial matchup between Penn State Schuylkill Men's Soccer and Penn State York on September 7th had to be called due to rain with Penn State York leading 1-0. Play resumed eight days later on September 15th, under more favorable weather conditions.
The first period saw a total of 12 shots taken with York registered 7 shots. Schuylkill closely followed with 5 attempts. York held a 2-1 lead heading into the second period.
York took control of the shot matchup during the second period, totaling 5 to Schuylkill's 1. York went on to defeat Schuylkill 4-1. Isaac Smith (Apo, Germany / Wiesbaden High School) scored the lone goal for Schuylkill.
