Penn State York 72, Penn State Mont Alto 56

Kaleigh Hartman scored a season-high 24 points for Mont Alto as the team dropped their first conference game of the new year, a 72-56 decision to Penn State York on Saturday afternoon. Desi Garcia-Hernandez paced Penn State York with a team-high 16 points in 26 minutes of action.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-York's Jayla Brown converted on a jumper to cap off a 13-2 run for Penn State York.

-Amelia Fouch banked in a three pointer and Hartman hit a jumper to trim the Penn State York lead to 21-17 with 6:37 remaining in the first half.

-Autumn Fischer made a jumper as Mont Alto trailed 24-23 late in the second quarter.

-Penn State York finished the half on a 10-0 run as Mont Alto trailed 34-23 at the half.

-Following an Autumn Fischer jumper, Penn State York went on a 16-0 run before Hartman made a late second three. Mont Alto trailed 56-33 after three quarters.

-Mont Alto won the fourth quarter 23-16 and dropped the PSUAC contest by a final of 72-56.
