Hartman is a passionate skills-development coach who provides his athletes with the fundamentals needed to reach their full potential. He enables his athletes to be a team of mentors, encouragers, and positive motivators on and off the court. His goal is to build a positive program where athletes want to improve and are willing to work hard toward becoming successful. His focus for the players on the team is to become a positive ripple effect for future generations of student-athletes for Penn State York. He is a big believer in staying humble in victory and that starting at zero is necessary for continued development and improvement.
