Runner-ups in the USCAA National Championship

The Penn State York Women’s Volleyball Team again made history in Penn State York Athletics with earning the runner-up slot in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) National Championship in Virginia Beach, Virginia, on November 12. They won their first set, but Penn State Mont Alto came back and won the next three sets taking the championship, 3-1. York battled the entire time and was a worthy opponent.  In addition, Jessica Dunbar and Makayla Dyson were named to the USCAA All-Tournament Team.  The team was celebrated on November 29 between the women’s and men’s basketball games in the gym of the Joe and Rosie Ruhl Student Community Center (The Ruhl Center) on campus.
