Penn State York Men's Soccer center back Michael Ambrose (Kennard-Dale / Stewartstown, Pennsylvania) received Second Team All-Conference Honors from the Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC).

Ambrose, a sophomore majoring in business, also scored four goals while leading the Penn State York defense. Ambrose started all 11 games for York.

The team captain scored in three straight games during a mid-season unbeaten run of five games, helping take Penn State York to the playoffs. Ambrose scored the team's only goal in the first-round loss at Penn State Greater Allegheny.

According to Coach Tim Weikert, "Mike was the first guy to the field and last to leave – a consummate hard worker, taking what was drilled on the practice field into the game. A true leader on and off the pitch!"

Penn State York finished the season with a 4-6-2 record overall, going 4-3-2 in the PSUAC to secure a playoff spot before ultimately falling to Penn State Greater Allegheny in the first round.

Michael Ambrose takes a goal kick for Penn State York during a 1–0 win against Penn State Wilkes-Barre on October 9, 2018. Ambrose scored the lone goal of the game on a 59th minute penalty kick.
