Penn State York Wins PSUAC Championship and Heads to USCAA Nationals

Congratulations to the Penn State York Men’s Basketball Team, they are the Penn State University Athletic Association (PSUAC) Champions!  York defeated Penn State Greater Allegheny, 77-76, in a nail-biter in overtime on Saturday, March 2, at the PSUAC Championship at the Bryce Jordan Center in State College, Pennsylvania.  As a result of the win, the men earned an automatic bid to the United State Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) National Small College Championship Tournament, securing the No. 3 Seed. The men will continue to practice the remainder of the week, before departing Sunday afternoon for Virginia State University in Petersburg, Virginia, the site of the 2024 USCAA Championships. 

 

Penn State York will take on No. 5 seed, Miami (OH) Hamilton at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, March 11. This first round game will be played at Richard Bland College in South Price George County, Virginia, the alternative site for the tournament. With a win, they will then advance to the semi-finals, playing at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 12. The Championship Game is set for 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13.
