Penn State York Men's Basketball opens the Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) playoffs with a Quarterfinal home game against defending champion Penn State Brandywine, Tuesday, February 19, at 7:00 p.m. York (17–8, 12–7), which captured the #2 seed in the East, looks for its third win of the season over Brandywine (14–11, 10–9), the #3 seed.

Ten days ago, Penn State York used stifling defense at home to hold Penn State Brandywine without a field goal for the final 8:47 in coming back from a twelve-point deficit to eek out a 66–65 win. Senior Justin Luton (Baltimore, Md. / Newtown) led York with 13 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 blocks, while Anthony Bennett, Jr. (Aberdeen, Md. Aberdeen) added 12 points and Jordin Brown 10. Michael Coleman (York, Pa. Northeastern) recorded 9 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 blocks, while John Gillespie (Lancaster, Pa. / Lancaster Mennonite) had 9 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 steals in the defensive battle.

Earlier this season, York took down Brandywine on the road, recording a 75–67 win on January 12. Luton recorded a double-double, pacing York with 17 points, 11 rebounds, 2 blocks, and a steal.

The winner of Tuesday night's game will take on an opponent to-be-determined from the West division on Friday, with the winners of that cross-divisional round facing off in the championship game at the Bryce Jordan Center in University Park, Pa. on Sunday.

All home games are held in the Joe and Rosie Ruhl Student Community Center Gym on the Penn State York campus, and are free and open to the public.
