Penn State York Strikes Back

Penn State York would take the lead in the bottom of the 4th after scoring three runs of their own. On the throwing error, Delridge and Church both scored, giving Penn State York a 2-1 lead. Later in the inning, Dyson scored on an RBI groundout by Avery Penson (York, Pa. / York Suburban) to give Penn State York a 3-1 lead after 4 innings.

Delridge Goes Deep

After a base hit by Brady Lefever (Elizabethtown, Pa. / Elizabethtown), Delridge came to the plate and blasted a two-run homerun to left-center giving Penn State York a 5-1 lead. Valley Forge would scratch across one more run in the top half of the 6th, but that would be their last as Penn State York went on to defeat Valley Forge 5-2.
