Penn State Mont Alto 80, Penn State York 70

Mont Alto, Pa- Mont Alto Men's basketball team went up against Penn State Wilkes-Barre for a USCAA division two matchup as well as senior night. A close game ended up going Mont Alto's way in the end as they won 80-70 over PSU York.

How it Happened

-Mont Alto would come out hot, scoring 11 unanswered points. York would respond making the deficit only four points, with the score being 15-11 in favor of Mont Alto.  

-The rest of the first half was a back-and-forth game with PSU York coming out on top 38-37 going into halftime.  

-To start the second half Mont Alto scored 7 unanswered points giving them the lead 44-38 with 18 minutes remaining.  

-Mont Alto would keep the lead for the remainder of the game, lead by a 22-point performance from Veron Talla and an 18-point performance from Taralle Hayden.   

Mont Alto Leaders:

Veron Talla- 22 points, 16 rebounds

Taralle Hayden- 18 points, 4 assists

Tevin Venson- 13 points, 3 rebounds

York Leaders:

Terrell Neal- 23 points, 7 rebounds

Sky Thomas- 13 points, 5 rebounds

Marquise McClean- 10 points, 8 rebounds
