YORK, Pa. -- Penn State York dealt Penn State Brandywine its first conference loss in three sets by scores of 25-11, 25-11, 25-13 on Saturday afternoon.
Suzie Alvarenga (Fullerton, Calif./Notre Dame Academy) produced 15 digs, while Laura Jezyk (Wilmington, Del./St. Elizabeth) tallied 12 and Anna Ramirez (Exton, Pa./Downingtown East) chipped in 11. Amanda Floyd (Glenolden, Pa./Interboro) provided two blocks.
On the offensive end, Ramirez topped the team with eight kills and Katie Snyder (Wilmington, Del./Dickinson) recorded three. Jezyk dished out 13 assists, while Alvarenga collected three assists.
Brandywine (2-4, 1-1) returns home Wednesday to face Penn State Lehigh Valley at 7:00 PM.
