Women's Basketball Goes 1-1 On The Road

The women's basketball team played a split road series against both Mont Alto and York this weekend.  First up was Mont Alto, and what a game it was.  DuBois would jump out to the early lead in the first quarter, take a 6-point lead into the half, and hold that throughout the game.  Frances Milliron would set the tone offensively for DuBois as she would put up 22 points off 10 for 20 from the field as well as pull down 11 rebounds and have 4 steals.  Shannon Shaw would drop in 14 points, Kelsey Stuart with 13, and Sarah Huston would add 12 to help lift DuBois to the victory.

The next day DuBois would travel to York.  The game would start off with a flurry of offense from both teams as the end of the first quarter would be tied at 22 each.  York would take the 8-point lead into the half, and unfortunately come out with a strong offensive showing in the third quarter that would be the difference.  DuBois would drop this one, 92-65.

Stuart would lead the way offensively for DuBois today as she would drop in 19 points. Shaw would put up 18 points off 4 for 8 from the 3-point line, and Milliron would add another 13 and 6 assists.
