In the first game, the score was back and forth and close until York started to pull away with 9:32 remaining in regulation, taking game one 90-77. Sophomore guard, Rob McAndrew led all scorers with 28 points and nine boards and junior guard, Matt Dessoye added 20 points, five rebounds and seven dimes.

Junior guard, Michael Coleman led York with 23 points and four rebounds and sophomore guard, Johnathon Gillespie added a 21 point and 10 rebound double-double for York.
