Karra Thomason Named John Fritz Award Winner

The Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) announced on Sunday, Feb. 18 that Karra Thomason is the 2017–18 John Fritz Sportsmanship Award Winner for Women's Basketball from Penn State York.

The 5'11" senior from New Oxford, Pennsylvania (Bermudian Springs) looks to graduate with a degree in business, and was honored during a Senior Night ceremony before Penn State York's Feb. 6 win over Penn State Brandywine.

Thomason scored a season-high 19 points in a 75–70 win at Penn State Mont Alto on Feb. 9, a game in which she also grabbed 9 rebounds and blocked 3 shots.

In her three years playing for Penn State York, Thomason averaged 10.9 points and 8.7 rebounds per game.
