Cameron Caple Wins John Fritz Sportsmanship Award

Cameron Caple, a Penn State York men's soccer player, received the 2021-22 John Fritz Sportsmanship Award. Caple also won the award in 2018. Caple is a graduate of South Western High School and is from Glenville, Pennsylvania.

The recipient of the John Fritz Award demonstrates good sportsmanship in that he displays ethical, appropriate, polite and fair behavior while participating in athletic events and as a member of a team. The recipient exemplifies the Penn State Values of integrity, responsibility, excellence, respect, discovery and community.

The award is named in honor of former Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) Commissioner John Fritz, who dedicated 30-plus years of service to Penn State Athletics and demonstrated these qualities.
