In the team's final game of the regular season, Penn State York Men's Soccer came away the victor over Penn State Beaver by a final score of 2–1 at home. The matchup had important playoff implications, as the two teams came in with similar records. With the win, York secured the fourth seed and a first-round home game in the Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) playoffs, with a final conference record of 5-3-1. Beaver fell to the sixth seed with a final record of 5-4.

Freshman and leading scorer Carter Miller (York, Pennsylvania / Dallastown Area High School) struck twice for Penn State York in the first half. Miller finishes the regular season with twelve goals, good for a share of fourth on the conference leaderboard. Harley Winters (Columbia, Pennsylvania / Lancaster Catholic High School), also a freshman, assisted on Miller's second goal.

It was a heated match, and a 42nd-minute tussle saw both senior Jonathan Vilca (Rosario, Argentina / San Jose High School) and Penn State Beaver's Daniel Fermin receive red cards. Both teams would finish the game with ten men on the field.

While Penn State Beaver would pull one back in the second half, freshman goalkeeper Maksim Zingman (Minsk, Belarus / Ridgewood High School) came up huge, making five saves in each half to preserve the win.

With the regular season concluded, Penn State York now looks towards the PSUAC Playoffs. Holding the fourth seed, York will host fifth seed Penn State New Kensington, most likely on Wednesday, Oct. 25. Details of the first round of playoff games will be announced soon. In the first conference game of the season on Sept. 6, York traveled was to New Kensington and battled to a 3–3 draw.
