YORK, Pa. — Just when you thought the season was over, Penn State York men's basketball team received an at-large bid from the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) to play in the Division II National Championship, and will head to Penn State Fayette to compete. York (19-7 overall) will begin play on Thursday, March 2, with the tip-off at noon, taking on Williamson College of the Trades (23-5). The game will be streamed live in the community room in the Joe and Rosie Ruhl Student Community Center at York campus, and is free and open to the public.

Penn State York won the Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) with a record of 15-1, but lost to Penn State Greater Allegheny in the championship game of the tournament on Feb. 19, 60-58. This win gave Greater Allegheny an automatic bid into the USCAA playoff, and they are the No. 4 seed. York was offered an at-large bid, and enters the playoff as the No. 6 seed in the 10-team field.
