Men’s Basketball Advances to National Championship

#6 seed Penn State York Men's Basketball had five players score in double-digits to upset #2 seed Central Penn College 82–71 and advance to the USCAA Final.

York jumped out to an early lead and managed to stay ahead of Central Penn's high-powered offense by around ten for the rest of the game. Penn State York shot 50% from the field and made 23 free throws.

Lucas Jewell had 16 points, 8 assists, and 6 rebounds for Penn State York, while Trent Thomas added 15 points, Richard Grant 14, Gabe Ceribelli 13, and Matt Achille 12. Justin Luton 12 rebounds to go with 7 blocks and 4 points, and Calvin Luckenbaugh rounded out the scoring with 8.

Parrish Petry's men move on to the USCAA Final tomorrow, where they will attempt to knock off #1 seed Berkeley College of New York, winner of 52 straight games and two straight USCAA championships.
